Overview

Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment) was first systematised by Bridgestone in the 1960s and later perfected at Toyota, where it became the strategic spine of the Toyota Production System. Unlike MBO (Management by Objectives), Hoshin Kanri uses the X-Matrix to translate a three-to-five-year strategy into annual improvement priorities, quarterly projects, and daily team tasks — all visibly connected. The "catch-ball" dialogue between management levels ensures alignment without blind compliance. Participants in this programme build live X-Matrices using their own organisational data, practice catch-ball sessions with peers, and design visual PDCA boards they deploy immediately on return.

Five structured days of methodology, live builds, and field immersion at a real Tokyo corporate facility — culminating in a complete Hoshin deployment plan presented to the cohort on Day 5.

After Program

90-Day Implementation & Coaching

Participants join a 90-day post-programme WhatsApp coaching group with weekly check-ins, troubleshooting support, and a final group debrief call at Day 90 to share results and challenges.
