Overview

Improvement Kata and Coaching Kata (IK/CK), developed by Mike Rother from his study of Toyota, provide a pattern of scientific thinking that managers coach into their teams through a daily 5-question routine. This programme teaches both the Improvement Kata (how to solve problems scientifically) and the Coaching Kata (how to develop scientific thinkers), with intensive practice sessions using real workplace challenges brought by participants.
