Overview
Gemba (the real place) leadership means going to where the work actually happens — the factory floor, the hospital ward, the service counter — to make decisions based on first-hand observation. This programme teaches the structured Gemba Walk methodology, the 3G principle (Genchi, Genbutsu, Genjitsu), and how to build organisational habits of field-based problem-solving. Participants conduct Gemba Walks in real Japanese facilities and debrief with host managers.
Program Objectives
- Understand the philosophy and methodology of Gemba leadership.
- Conduct a structured Gemba Walk using the 3G principle.
- Build a Gemba-based problem-solving habit for their team.
